Hong Kong-born British Soprano Hoyan Chui (崔皓昕) is a classical singer and music tutor based in the UK.

As a Performancer
Hoyan made her UK debut with the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company in 2023. From 2023 - 2024, she has sung as a recital soloist in the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival. Previously, she had worked with Opera Hong Kong, Hong Kong Arts Festival, BBC One, Streetwise Opera, RNCM Opera, Leeds Youth Opera and Maurizio's Opera.
She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music under the tutelage of Susan Roper, Peter Wilson and Linda Richardson. She is now studying privately with Anthea Dwyer.

As a Teacher
Hoyan has more than a decade of experience teaching Singing, Piano, Flute, Music Theory and Songwriting. Her students have achieved exceptional results, such as obtaining choral scholarship to study at the University of Oxford and the Chetham's School of Music, scoring Distinction at the ABRSM Exams in Singing (Grade 8), Music Theory and Piano (Grade 5). She has taught singing at Methodist College Belfast and piano at Presto Music Academy.
